65 Afghans were exhibited under me and, despite the rainy weather, the dogs were presented well. I was delighted to see so many naturally patterned, houndy, free-moving bitches with so desirable lift and spring to their movement. Whilst some heads were not to my taste, my priorities were for good front assembly and free springy, true movement with great reach, lift and drive. Handling was quietly unobtrusive and the dogs were allowed to move at their own pace and on a loose lead. Temperaments were excellent all through the entry and I would like to thank all concerned for their warm welcome and good sportsmanship,

Best Dog - Ch Yashum v.d.Irminsul. Blue. Whilst I would have preferred more refinement to his masculine and rather plain head, his body make-up and movement were faultless. He covered the ground with long effortless strides and was easily the best mover in the males.

CAC - Zardi y-Shirvan. Gold, Good head and eye. Balanced body, deep chest, good front and rear angulation, moving freely and true. A ringed tail would have completed the picture, however, I found him to be a super dog.

Impressive black/tan, Good head with dark triangular eye and very keen expression. Balanced throughout with a great springy movement. Nicely handled.

Best of Breed - Ch A Dream Comes True Worth to Wait. Completely captivated me. Fabulous head, good length of foreface, superb chiselling and cheekbones. Dark eye, strong neck, excellent front assembly, with correct return of upper arm, well angulated quarters, level topline and shown in super condition. With gleaming coat her free, springy movement was a joy to behold. I could have taken her home.

CAC - Thaleia-Tafi el Sahir. Truly excellent head and eye and of a lovely type. Good neck into clean shoulders, super body condition with correct coat pattern and texture. A quality bitch, extremely well balanced.

Feminine head with primitive, keen expression. Loved her naturally patterned coat. Powerful, free mover, covered lots of ground. Extremely houndy in great condition. Correct fallaway finished with a ringed tail.
